Fashion is all about People. Vogue Loves Fashion Festival arrived at Designer Outlet Algarve between the 28th and 31st of July 2022 and transformed the Algarve into the fashion capital. This is the first exclusive event honouring the fashion industry organised by Designer Outlet Algarve in collaboration with Vogue Portugal magazine.
Walking on the catwalk, participating in fashion productions with professional photographers and shopping with discounts of up to 80% are some of the offers at the event. In addition, the space featured an exclusive Vogue pop-up store specially designed for the Fashion Festival.
During these days, everyone could still become a model as several professional photographers captured the best poses, sharing all the images in a photo gallery on the Designer Outlet Algarve website.
Hundreds of visitors also took advantage of the opportunity to feature on the cover of Vogue Portugal, in a human-scale model present in the Vogue Pop Up Exhibition Store. The pop up shop proved to be an unprecedented opportunity to get in touch with the history of the Fashion magazine, with some of its most iconic editions on display. Among the most popular activities, the slowmotion 360º platform also stood out, offering visitors an innovative way of sharing their look on social networks.
I was honoured to participate in this beautiful event. Joining a great team of professionals at the Fashion Studio where I shot the Portraits Series of the guests including Sofia Lucas and José Santana as well as Bernardo Sousa and Bruna Gomes, Big Brother show winners. There were more than 20 models every day in front of my camera! Most of them were having this challenge for the first time in their life. But as experienced fashion photographer I managed to help and direct them in posing and emotions to achieve amazing authentic results full of trust, fun and happiness.
Being a part of a team known for creating innovative solutions in fashion area has provided me with amazing learning opportunities and meeting new people from around the world. I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve done to help improve the quality of fashion industry in our region for lots of people.
It was a four day intensive work experience that fuelled me with unforgettable memories that make my heart shine with love, happiness and smile!
